In the morning we left Nambucca :-( I really love that place. We drove for 400km to the Gold Coast. Along the way we saw the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour and the Big Prawn at Ballina. It was the biggest prawn I've ever seen and even though I love to eat them, I could never eat all of it as I think I would have a big tummy ache. We eventually got to Broadwater Tourist Park in Southport and when we finished setting up the caravan, Lauren and I went on the jumping pillows :-))))) We had a ginormous amount of fun. Check out our photos.

James, Great to hear you finally got underway and made it safely across the border into Queensland. Sounds like you saw plenty of "big" things along the way - Chris was very interested in the big prawn!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here in Sydney is pretty freezing and it's started to rain again, Andrew's worried about football on the weekend. Hope all is well in the caravan, that Dad's shaving and Mum is enjoying some time away from the "domestics".
All the very best,
Uncle Pete
Thanks Uncle Pete - Glad to report that Dad has shaved for the first time this morning and thinks he looks good. Beautiful blue skies, off to Sea World soon.(Dad doesn't look fantastic !!! He looks disgusting - Joking)!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi James,
ReplyDeleteLoved your photos, especially the one of you jumping with your legs wide apart....what fun!!Already, you seem to be having a great, great time....keep at it! Love Grandma & Pop
Dear James,
ReplyDeleteI heard you were going to Sea World, how was it, did you have a great time? Also, did you get a chance to kiss a seal/dolphin and most importantly, was it's breath fishy???
What was your favourite animal?
Andrew
Hi James,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you all having heaps of fun and enjoying God's world. I reckon it's pretty amazing how God enabled us to appreciate his world - sight, sound, taste (prawn ... yummmm), feel, smellllll.
Michael
At Sea World my favourite animal was the dolphins because they jumped up 3-4m above the water and did lots of tricks (eg flips). I didn't get to kiss any of them, but hopefully I will get to touch an animal in the next 2 days at Australia Zoo. James
ReplyDeleteAndrew - Is Footy still on tomorrow, or has it been washed out ? I hope you get a run. Keep working on those blind turns that your Dad loves - NOT !!! James.
